So I'm on the verge of failing my New Year's Resolution... epically failing. I wouldn't mind so much, if it wasn't only January 28th... like SERIOUSLY I couldn't even last 28 days regularly blogging. *hangs head in shame*
However, it's been a chaotic few weeks for me. I got my first REAL job post-grad. I'm not quite sure my exact title but I'm pretty sure it's one of the following: Assistant Buyer, Buying Assistant or Purchasing Assistant.. In any case, I now work for a major ticket agency in Boston and I'm SO EXCITED to get started on Monday. Although the idea of sitting in front of a computer screen 8hours a day is a bit frightening. Is this what adulthood is like? YIKES!
The most exciting part of this new job is this new paycheck that comes with it. I've got a New York thrifting trip with the BFF planned in the upcoming weeks and not to mention the superficial side of me is pretty freaking pumped to get my hair, nails and toes done next week as well... Manis and pedis and shopping, OH MY!
However, let me digress a bit. While getting my first post-grad job is uber exciting, it also means I had to bid adiue to the retail job I had been working for the past few months. To be quite honest, I'm not all that heartbroken about leaving, but not having all that fabulous artisan jewelry at my fingertips anymore is a bit dissappointing. Luckily, my coworker's were perceptive and nice enough to get me one of my FAVORITE PAIR of earrings as a parting gift.

She is basically my favorite jewelry designer. Her used of fabric is breathtaking. I absolutely adore these and while they may look like a color explosion in the picture, trust me they are the bomb.com in person. I'm sure I'll be sporting these sooner rather than later, so you'll be seeing these again.
I also have another pair getting remade, sort of. So pics of those are to come soon. Let me let you know they are a [not so] little piece of handmade, embroidered earring heaven.
In dog news (that you probably don't care about), I've finally found a doggy daycare that I think is good enough for Moji.
My overactive Maltipoo, who everyone is convinced is part Terrier, needs space to run and as city-dwellers, space isn't really in abundance. Luckily, I found a suitable place and so starting in March, after he's "big snip", he will be able to socialize with other pups a few times a week. YAY!
I'm still in a chaotic state, then again I'm always in a chaotic state. But I'll attempt to be better at blogging... pinky swear!
